Thoroughbred lines known for quiet temperments

My TB has Halo through Rahy and Ribot even farther back. They’re both known to be difficult. Rahy’s sire (Blushing Groom) is known to put a jump on and boy can this guy jump!! I’m not as familiar with his dam lines but she’s closely line bred to a stallion called Faraway Son and some older French stallions that I don’t know.

He’s quirky and athletic but ammy friendly. He has a motor but no “stupidness” to him. Here’s his pedigree.

I tend to look at pedigree after looking at the horse and there was a suspicious trend with Mr.Prospector, Buckpasser, and/or Turn-To being present in 95% of the horses I was drawn to.
My girl now has Prospector and Buckpasser - she is the sanest 5yo chestnut mare I’ve ever encountered. We can blast through a stadium or xc course and walk calmly away from the last fence. She’s not lazy - just knows exactly when to be ‘on’.
My old guy was different - he was by Pleasant Colony and out of a Lyphard mare. He was spunky and opinionated about everything until the day I lost him to colic (18yo). That old man could out jump horses a decade younger and had a great brain - I could take him out on hunts or pop a 6yo beginner on his back and he would adjust his ride to suit the rider.
