I bought an Tb off the track by Albert The Great. That horse was a fabulous mover and wicked good jumper, but ammie friendly, I went Prelim on him and while pregnant taught lessons on him to a client who needed to step up from 3’6 to 4. I’ve ridden 2 other OTTBs by Albert the Great who were fabulous. Flashy, fancy jumpers. I seek them out when buying now. He’s not a sport horse sire, but seems to have really sporty, babies.

His oldest Lucky Devil finish 10th out of 24 starters in his first CCI*** at the Jersey Fresh International with Lauren Kieffer on May 11th.
My guy is available but not proven yet. Both parents were proven though and he was bred to jump. TF Classic Twist by Triple Twist out of Skipping Class. I evented his sire and currently event his dam.

One of the very best horses I ever rode was a son of Green Dancer. He was a 600K Keenland sales yearling, who was a black type winner over hurdles, then evented through Training and was about to go prelim when he died in a pasture accident. But probably the best jumping and galloping horse I ever sat on, and was proving pretty gifted on the flat.
Green Dancer was a lovely horse; one of my favorite stallions. I’m sorry for the unfortunate demise of the one you knew. I don’t doubt he was special.
I’d also second Sea Accounts or Salute the Truth.
MMC Eventing has a lovely new stallion who just came off the track.
I also like Artrageous
Sea Accounts is a 3/4 by blood sibling to Hero’s Tribute and is closely related to Sea Lion and Sea Lord who showed GP dressage with Silva Martin.
He the first and only North American-bred TB stallion to be approved by the AHS/HV as well as GOV, ATA, and RPSI. If the schedule permits, he’ll be presented to AHHA this fall.
He is currently competing at 4th level dressage with Patrick Tompkins and has recently started an eventing relationship with Ellen Doughty-Hume after successfully competing at Intermediate with Mike Huber (he is qualified for AECs at Intermediate!)
Kids are very successful so far in jumpers, hunters/derbies and eventing.
Lots of video and pics of him and some of the offspring at www.facebook.com/SeaAccounts
This is my favorite XC video to date. Last November over a very similar track as the AECs, but with 5 additional fences all in combinations (no, I don’t know what Capt. Phillips was thinking). Out of 12 pairs, Mike and Cyriz were the only ones to jump clear and it was his 3rd OI.

How is Wing Man? He has a very cool pedigree, I remember when you acquired him
Wing Man is doing fantastic! He has really settled in here and is very easy to handle. Super disposition. We had almost given up on him for breeding after no luck the first 2 years but as a last ditch we threw a mare out with him and she got pregnant first go! We pasture bred him last year to 4 mares and are thrilled with his foals so far.
If you would possibly consider a Canadian A Fine Romance is lovely… Unfortunately, Coconut Grove is only available frozen. Good luck…
AFR is pensioned, so not available except through frozen, if that.
Really, I did not know that… Thanks

Thank you for mentioning A Fine Romance, ivy62.
I don’t think there can be any doubt that he is proven sire of performance horses.
He and I are officially retired from breeding, but I do have some frozen semen.
There are two exceptional young AFR sons, one a two yr old, one a yearling, and at least one grandson in my barn now, who may be available for breeding in the coming years.
Of course performance is important to me, so any of them being kept as stallions is dependent on them showing talent in the ring.
Gauguin’s Impression is 67.5% TB, jumps and moves like a warmblood. He is drop dead gorgeous too.

Thanks for thinking of Just a Devil. He is available for breeding. His offspring are proving to have an amazing jump and are very athletic.
Here is a link to 9 year old Lucky Devil’s show jumping at the Carolina International CIC***, where he also jumped around clean x-country. http://youtu.be/trYRArjTAcE.
And a link to a 7 year old Whole Lotta Heart, a TB mare by Just a Devil, who is just getting started in her career.

If you’re looking for jumping ability, Artrageous has it and seems to pass it on (so far-his oldest baby is a 6 year old). Pictured is Artrageous (right) and his daughter Impish Expression (left). https://www.facebook.com/ArtrageousatFoxHavenFarm/photos/a.10150596816147352.383922.299139422351/10151822385447352/?l=b26f9599a1
If you would consider frozen maybe Coconut Grove?
I am going to suggest that if you find a racing stallion you really “have to have” do not hesitate to inquire as to whether he will stand for a sport horse mare. There are many reasons why some TB sires are not readily known as being available to sport mares, but all they can say is no. I have inquired about two of them, and both were available. One would even ship frozen. I would never have guessed they would be that accommodating. I did it the old fashioned way, I wrote a letter, and I called. You just never know.
