Thoroughbred Sport Horses aka Churchill Hunt Club aka many other names

I have no answers but see their page recommend to me on FB all the time. The damn photoshopped background kills me!

I think this is the first time they are making the rounds on Facebook. Hopefully now people in the area who don’t necessarily look on this site and live under a rock will hear of their reputation before they even give them the time of day.
Love how they “save” all of these horses from slaughter yet won’t let anyone on the farm or sell to anyone who is local!!!

Wow, pathetic…so the daughter has moved on? Who is listed as doing the “training”? I refuse to look at their website or FB pages anymore, makes me feel dirty and don’t want to add to their hits/views.

Coming off as a hoarder…

Sandra Lattanzio and Andrew Kelly. With all the publicity of the horrible Maria Borell and the neglect case against her I would hope that their would also be some publicity regarding the Lattanzio’s and their fake training/selling/rescue operation.

I was hoping someone would post Carleigh’s blog. Carleigh posted an update recently that included some pretty horrific before and after photos that showed the wonderful condition the horses arrived in and how skeletal they became after a short time in her care. The interesting thing is the photos were provided by the daughter who is working to distance herself from her mother’s despicable ways.

But did anyone see the train wreck that was the post Sandra made? Her daughter has a post apologizing for her family and that she is distancing herself. So that night on their Facebook page Sandra posted that in a few days they would have a response and that her daughter was going to go away for a really long time. Eventually in comments saying she had a drug problem and had stolen 120k in horses, equipment and their truck and trailer to support her habit. Anyone that was questioning her got rude responses and she then deleted their comments and blocked them from commenting. She couldn’t even use the correct forms of their/there. She ended up deleting the post overnight. Oh and then she accused carleigh of helping her daughter, that she probably knew where everything was and the police would be contacting her. I’ve been wondering when someone wouldmention it here!

We have a horse from them in our barn. He is a GREAT HORSE. But it doesn’t excuse in any way the things they’ve been repeatedly accused of. A broken clock is wrong twice a day.

@vxf111 Isn’t a broken clock right twice a day?

very sad all the negative here… lots of hostile folks here :frowning: horse traders are horse traders (their practice have not changed since the middle ages)… if you fall in love w one of their horses and absolutely assure a proper vet check w your own sourced vet… Go For It… they end up with some fabulous horses actually…

If you read closely you’ll see that they do not allow you to vet any of their horses with any vet but THEIR OWN. You have to buy the horse first to be able to have it vetted by your vet.

Given our new green friend’s post count, I suspect she is well aware of the practices there :wink:

I love it when houseguests drop by. You take a chance buying any horse but few dealer/traders, even on the low end, skirt the edges of fraud and misrepresentation as blatantly as these do, They drag the reputation of the whole profession (further?) down.
