Those in snow country, tell me about your arena gutters

Do you have gutters on your indoor arenas? If so, what size are they? Does anyone have Leaf Filter or other gutter guards?

We currently have regular house-type gutters that have lasted about 20 years, but due to years of snow slide-offs, they now need to be replaced. They also seem to be too small to handle the downpours of rain that we seem to get more frequently now.

Due to the topography around the arena and lack of available space to grade/slope the terrain, we must have gutters on the building.

We are getting older, so something that alleviates the need to clean gutters is desirable.

What experiences do you have that might help us decide what to do for our next gutters? We’re in west michigan, so get plenty of snow and rain.

We put Leaf Drop gutters on our house and barn. They are much bigger than regular gutters, and the bottom of the downspouts have the leaf clean out. Super convenient and easy. If they are available in your area, they are worth a look.
