Thoughts on Incrediwear?

This is my first post here so please bear with me, but does anyone on here have any experience with the Incrediwear standing wraps? They were recommended to me by my trainer and a gal at the barn for my horse that I’m going to start rehabbing. He injured his right front check ligament last year. His leg is pretty tight, not too much residual swelling but I want to do what I can to make sure it stays that way. I haven’t heard much about these wraps and can’t find many reviews. The price point is very steep at $135 so I want to be sure before I buy. I bought into the Back on Track trend a few years back and am mixed on their effectiveness. So, any thoughts on whether or not it’s worth the buy? Thanks!

Here’s the link to them: https://incrediwearequine.com/collections/equine-products/products/circulation-standing-wrap

Unless you like the price point, I sure wouldn’t bother. There’s nothing in their “research” that indicates their product is any better than your standard $20 standing bandage.

I have their polos and a pair of the socks. I don’t think I’d shell out for standing wraps though. I very much like the cooling when wet effect which is why I have what I have.

There is nothing about them that justify the price to me.

I see a lot of standard marketing speak, but nothing that would temper my standard skepticism. I am also extremely doubtful that it is physically possible to increase circulation in a leg by wrapping something around it tightly – that is not how any standing wrap works, no matter what made-up name you give it. Save your money.

I would go for BOT wraps over incrediwear - their products are actually research backed and have a method to the madness so to speak. however icrediwears polos and hoof socks are awesome, but I dont see what’s so special about their standing wraps

What research?

None of the linked study was done on horses.

That’s not true. This used horses:

I’m not saying these wraps are worth the bucks or that this study is compelling, but you can’t say there’s no research with equines.

You are right, it does appear that at least one horse was used there. But I also agree that there is no information that shows whether the “study” is meaningful.

Hey! Found this thread in a search. How much water do you feel they absorb? Are they light when wet, like Saratoga wraps?

They absorb a good amount of water but don’t get crazy heavy. I’ve not had them slip while wet, that’s for sure
