How much? Let me know if you want to sell him!!! LOVE this horse! (seriously) That blushing groom pedigree will give you long standing sturdiness.

I didn’t look back that far in his pedigree. I didn’t realize he has Blushing Groom. He looks very much like Blushing Groom. Except I think Blushing Groom was on the small side and the OP’s horse looks big.

Gorgeous, and he jumps well in a dress! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

How big is he?

they look similar!! can you tell me a little about brushing groom?

thank you so much!! i’m not sure if i will ever be able to part with him… even thought my parents say we are selling him when i go to college, not happening!!

who is blushing groom? what makes him special?

He was a champion racehorse at 2 and 3 (in France and Europe). When he retired from racing, he came to the US and became an awesome stallion. A lot of his offspring were great racehorses (both sides of the Atlantic) and became great producers. He produced sprinters and horses that could run in long races and everything in between.

I don’t know much about his offspring as sport horses but he was very successful and influential in the racing world.

Tell me how you came across him. I’m looking for an OTTB like that.

I got him Leslie Janek in ohio!

I love the Gone West! You have a nice one on your hands! I just picked up a 3yo with the Gone West bloodlines and I hope he turns out as nice as yours!

Look. Nobody is going to look at this horse and scream OTTB! He looks more like a SF, French Warmblood.

Nice stride to the canter. Nice jump. Obviously green but really seems to try for you. You look to be a nice quiet rider.

Your guy may not be a flat kneed floaty consistent hack winner but he certainly has potential to win consistently over the fences.

Ride on kiddo.

Here is Mt. Livermore (another horse in the pedigree).

If you research his dam’s progeny, this lovely horse has 6 full siblings out there.

Which I’m sure some of you already know!

is there anyway i could find his siblings? i would love to get in touch with their owners and see what they are like

thanks so much!

If they are racing or have raced, you can look them up on Equibase for free and see who their most recent owners are. Then just look for them on Facebook? That’s my only idea. I know for sure one is still racing. His name is God’s Will Be Done. @jumpottb. He’s running in cheap claiming races.

Can you tell I’m obsessed with your horse? I want one just like him.
