Thoughts on Otto P or Simpatico

I am considering breeding a well bred hano mare to either Otto P or Simpatico this year. They both offset the mare well conformation wise. I’ve seen both stallions in person and they seem quiet yet inquisitive. Does anyone have any experience with any of their offspring that you can share? TIA.

What is your breeding goal? They’re pretty different types.

Dressage sport horse. The mare is by Royal Prince out of a jumping line, and has shown successfully in dressage until becoming a broodmare.

My trainer has had 2 horses by Sempatico in training with her. Both are Friesian crosses. Both are really neat horses and have some color. They both have a great personality.

Flash was sold to a new owner late in 2019 and the younger 6 year old, Geo, is still with her. The 6 year old showed in the 5 year old Material class at Dressage at Devon in 2019 and did pretty well especially considered he had limited show experience.

This is the older one Flash:

Kymmy is an FEI rider with her Gold Medal. She and her trainer think Geo will go GP. Kymmy and the new owner both think Flash will go GP too.

Neither horse has been shown a lot.

Which Simpatico? The one by Singular Joter 1?

No, the one by Semper

Both are gorgeous!!! Thank you.

Wow! I like Flash. How unique. And no worries about keeping the upper body stain free!

I would breed a nice Hanoverian mare to a nice Hanoverian stallion. The question is whether you want dressage or jumping lines.

Definitely don’t breed to a Friesian.
