Thoughts on Seramune? Does it work?

What do you think about Seramune? Reading some of the studies, it seems like it may help, but you would probably need 3 bottles to be effective? Is it worth buying?

The results of this study indicate that, at the recom-
mended dosage, Seramune is ineffective in raising
plasma IgG concentrations above 800 mg/dl in foals
that suckle mares with suboptimal colostrum.
However, despite low plasma IgG levels, none of the
foals experienced severe or life-threatening illness,
and all survived to at least 12 weeks of age.

I asked my vet about it this morning. She said in her experience, it’s never pushed a foal over the edge from needing plasma to not. She said it might help one that needs a teeny, tiny push forward.
