Thoughts on this generic Legend?

I ran across this article, but I am not sure I even knew of its availability in 2015. Thoughts on this?

I don’t think this ever gained traction and do not think it’s available any longer. Not sure what happened. I asked about it when it came out several years ago. I can’t find it anywhere so I’m assuming it’s off the market and Legend didn’t want the competition.

The article was dated March 5, 2024. I used generic HA years ago, and it was as useful (and less expensive) as Legend. I’d use it again.

Good deal if it’s back. I wondered what happened the first go around?

Just a guess, but drug companies sometimes (oops) let their licenses lapse and it takes a while to jump through all the hoops to be able to get their product back on shelves in whichever particular company the license ran out.

Back in the dark ages when I worked in a tack shop, this was common. Oh sure, Farnam (or whoever) you make sure your US (or home country) customers have continuity but you oopsed on your Canuck license and now we have to do without (and deal with annoyed customers used to their particular brand of choice) for an unspecified time because NO government ever tells anyone how long it’s going to take to unjam the paperlog for a product, especially not for something non (human) life saving.

OTOH, sometimes those oopses led us to different and nicer products

That’s what I was wondering as well.

The article is new.

I see that now. I think what threw me was the quote was that this product was last available in 2015.
I’ve periodically checked to see if I could find whatever happened to it. Even vets has never heard of it. It was like a big mystery.
