How do you get the comments to update?

Even in Silverlight, I only get what was there when I started watching, it does not progress. (I have to go out and come in again to get any new comments)

Is it over?

Can anyone post the link of results so far…thanks

for now…they will start up again in several hours so they are not riding during the hottest time of the day.

Here is the list of start times. http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/INF/EQ/C51CB/EQX003400.shtml#EQX003401

it is currently 10:10 am in Hong Kong (tomorrow–Saturday)

que son demasiado demasiado amables;)

:lol:I know what I would have been saying if my horse performed that well and I f*ck’d up! NOT words for children to hear;)

Wow! The live feed is great! It took less than 5 minutes for me to download and install Silverlight, and the video quality was really good.

I gotta say I had a bit of a disconnect with some of the commentary - e.g. for William Fox-Pitt “a flawless ride”…um, no, I saw definite flaws. And apparently so did the judges. And the diss on anglo-arabs. Well, I own one and she’s a great mover (gotten 8s and I’m not that good!), plus I kind of thought that historically the French did well in eventing and weren’t anglo-arabs kind of their thing? Maybe not…maybe they had thoroughbreds back in the day. And of course it was the cross country that mattered. I was just a little surprised by the comment.

Sorry I missed Amy Tryon’s ride. Got home too late.

Who is doing that commentary, anyway? I couldn’t quite grasp how to get that information from the site.

Looking forward to the coming days and wishing I’d planned my vacation days slightly differently.

 So true…

evenstar: I was wondering the same thing: who is doing the commentary?

So from the results, looks like there are five riders per team. Do they get two dropout scores then? Or is one a pre-named individual?

They are all technically individuals with the top three making up the team score.

I missed most of the live video feed, but when i went back and clicked to watch the video from the start, i noticed that the person doing the commentary was “Imtiaz Anees Reporting from NBC Studios” who was an Olympic Equestrian who rode in the Sydney Olympics (i googled him)

Does anyone know what time (US) it will start back up? I thought I saw the answer earlier but can’t find it now.

I’m watching the rewind; I must say the video resolution is much lower (blurrier) than the live feed was on my comp. Does anyone else notice this? I hope I didn’t do something to my vid settings accidentally!

He said … Fait Ch…, Pu… Fais ch…, ch…, ch…

Poor Didier, he was feeling so Bad. Thierry tried to tell him that it was OK, but he was really mad.
