I gave up since it was annoying with the buffering breaks every few seconds. Even my 2-yr old son was getting irritated. When he started trying to make the picture move by smacking the laptop, I called it quits (he did NOT learn that from us, and he has yet to visit a sitter or daycare…). Besides it was difficult to enjoy the opening ceremonies AND the live feed at the same time.

Lovely ceremony! I thoroughly enjoyed it! And may be up to catch the stuff on TV later. For now it’s time to see about the replay…

PS: Can we only read the live commentary in the little box under the video on the right, or is there a way to hear it? I can hear the horses going, etc. but the commentary just appears in type. Is that right?

Haven’t checked the schedule for the final 25 but I think it will be tonight. I believe there are early morning and evening sessions to avoid the heat of mid-day.

This is the Saturday evening session and tomorrow morning’s will be on tonight here (12 hour time difference).

Wow, that sucks!

I never did get the replay to work. It gave me 2 minutes of an overhead view of the arena from across the water. Annoyed me all over again. Now I have to see if I can get anything up. Haven’t caught any on TV, either (schedule they provide on TV says it’s after beach volleyball, though, so maybe I’ll catch it?)
