“He is doing the best he can on a very difficult ride so far
Unfortunate for Eric but Anglo Arabs an get a bit tense”

I guess she thinks they are too hot?

What a shame. And what a hunk that Eric is!

Nice looking horse!

Seems like that dressage rider who was complaining about the jumbrotron should be more concerned about the camera at the judge’s box. We’ve seen a lot more horses spook at that. To their credit it is pretty scary looking, I’m not sure what they were thinking.

LOL now what’s gonna be the excuse for this trakhener?

Agreed, Coral. But he’ll probably not care about that

Silly horses

LOL, I don’t know. Poor thing is all over the place, though.

Apparently it’s just that this one is “ready to go cross country,” that’s all! g

I think she just doesn’t like AA’s, but seems to be excusing the TK’s behavior as a sort of “she doesn’t train with spooky stuff around,” thereby blaming the rider (who I think is doing a lovely job with an obviously nervous animal)

She certainly doesn’t look upset, just a bit amused like she expected some silliness.

I wonder if the warmblood “will be ready for cross country” too :stuck_out_tongue:

Whoah, I just saw that camera at C. What a horse eating monster that looks to be! No wonder they are taking a second (or third) look at it.

“Most of these horses at home would be perfect”

Except those darned Anglo Arabs right?

I must say I’m surprised more of these eventing horses aren’t a little braver. Half of them act scared to death. Hot and fit is one thing, but they are really worried.

If the ring looks like this for dressage, pagodas and all, I’m afraid Salinero will have a nervous breakdown.

I’m having trouble deciphering this comment
“The hot horses are fed cool feeds the warm is very important not to over cook them or keep them to freash”

I guess I understand what she’s getting at, though.

Melanthe,

Your comment made me laugh out loud (Salinero, etc)

I didn’t understand the feed thing, either.

Though I agree it would almost be a sight for sore eyes to see Salinero have a nervous breakdown. I’m not trying to be mean…oh, heck I can’t explain it
