Still wondering why they aren’t showing the individual movement scores. It would be so much more exciting and educational.

But about Salinero and the ring, we all know that it won’t really matter if Salinero has a meltdown. :yes: The meltdown is not a scored movement on today’s dressage tests.

I am ready to give the German team the gold. Their dressage is stellar. Dibowski’s ride and horse were very, very good.
Maybe with three judges, they just don’t have time to compile them between tests, and they probably figure that very few people actually care…
I think I would settle for halfway consistent announcing of the movements - I’ve watched enough of them that I’ve got the test down, but it was annoying that occasionally they’d flash “half pass left” on the screen and other times nothing at all.

NICE test from Phillip Dutton - I actually would have thought he’d score a bit higher than that.
My mother glanced over my shoulder - she knows little to nothing about horses, but on seeing Connaught enter the ring remarked “That horse thinks he’s all that and a bag of chips, doesn’t he?”
