How’s Sharon Hunt doing?
Karen did say she thought about it but was afraid she’d be so, so, so slow. Then apologized. She’s aware of the mistake…which is good to hear, really (though also expected)
That makes sense. I wasn’t second guessing her, just curious.

She apologized? Poor thing. She did well to stay on. Had me really nervous for a second, but Karen can stick!

It’s not like I’m trying to second-guess an O’Connor… (but) taking the long route might have cost 20 seconds, but failing to get the direct route and having to take the long one cost 20 penalties + time. No one’s perfect - she trusted him, and he wasn’t up to it. Too bad. The Pony would have had a blast. :frowning:

Just had a stop.

Just had a runout at the #2 pagoda :frowning:

I don’t think anyone thought you were placing blame

GAH! COMMERCIAL AT THE RUN OUT! Did he make it second try?

yes

Land Heir was the TK who was all freaked during dressage, right?

Now that’s Passat, who’s also on course now. Lovely critter, but jumping scarily–iffy distances and balance, and knees awful low over the first couple.

(Hee! @ the “Woohoo!” from Paro. Now get off your horse, dude. Hasn’t he done enough for today?)

No the TK is from Belarus, in black and white, going ok so far.

That’s not the vest - the Brazilian is a big person.

Land Heir had a nice test, I thought. Sorry, I get a bit confused at times  Loved the WOO HooOO! He deserved it

Ok, hate me if you must, but the rider from Brazil did not look like he was very fit. He came through ranked 32nd though shrugs though that last fence one handed loosing the reins as he went yeehaw didn’t seem like he was helping the horse much.

LOL Ember!!

Yes, in fact I think his first Olympic ride was on the eventing team.

Well, that last horse out of the start box sure seemed eager to get a move on

either she’s pretty small, or he’s pretty big…wow

Whew Passat made it. I was honestly worried.

Some of these riders look really young to me
