Yeah, I agree. I was amazed by the Irish score.

Kyle’s score is 62 and change… not deserved if the Irish guy is sitting on a 51. I do NOT know how he managed that at all. That horse was breaking stride, changing leads… or NOT changing leads in some circumstances…[/QUOTE]
See, i tuned in during the second 1/2 of kyle’s test and thought it was quite solid, definitely not a 60’s test. Was the first 1/2 that bad??
Nope. The first was like the second half. It was “conservative” and he wasn’t pushing for the mediums like he could since Parker was on the verge of exploding, but other than a buck and a bit of jump in his flyings, it was pretty steady. I was very suprised they put him in the 60s. Although David did not look super excited about it after it was over… the Irish guy was stoked for his test mark. I would be too… I was expecting high 60’s for him.
Wow, this poor guy is just tense and crooked through the whole thing.
This current pony is cute… he’s very alert to people… and this dude’s topper looks like a cowboy hat! The sides are so curled up!
this polish horse almost looked like he was half trotting during some of his canter work
Youhou! I just got out of work! Just on time to watch some tests…
This one was nice, by the way.
Did I see that correctly? Did the Polish rider take his glasses off for the test then put them back during the final salute?
i am back!
interesting halt?
yeah that halt was just a little… creative
is it just me, though, or did the beginning of the test almost look like the horse was lame? obviously he’s not, as he’s settled down a bit now, but it looked a little wierd.
Russian riders are more fun to watch if I imagine the horse talking back to them in a Boris & Natasha voice: “You vant halt? Niet!”
What differences in movement we are seeing. Lots and lots of differences! I didn’t expect Slezak’s horse to move like he did. I was expecting classic TB. I wonder what it’s breeding is.
And there sure are a lot of tense horses out there (looking at the big chestnut now).
WOW is that an AP saddle?
YAY!!! I’m so proud of Pawel!
Ya think? The flaps are sure short, but the cantle seems too high.
Is anyone else’s video threatening to seize up?
And what is on this Canadian rider’s left sleeve?
Oh, well. This is beginning to look like a “UN” ride. That horse looks extremely hard to ride – even just to sit to.
Mine is stuttering a bit.
Gee, did you see her lean in that left half pass? Not a pretty seat, that one.
It’s a Candian maple leaf inside an upside-down horseshoe. Don’t have any idea - perhaps it’s the Canadian olympic team emblem? There seems to be some writing on the outline of the horseshoe but I couldn’t see it well enough.
