Canada desperately needs to hire one of their many great dressage riders/trainers to step in. They have the goods but the modern sport demands better training.
mine went a little crazy so i had to restart and such. but now i am back up and running smoothly!
Do these event horses think the judges boxes are jumps? They keep shying and switching leads when they face that first one coming across the serpentine in counter canter.
why does it sound like a jackhammer is going during the last German’s ride?
Good man Frank!! Lovely ride.
Second German rider and second rider to basically not do the half pass right. Just rode it like a diagonal (sp?). No bend, no crossover, nothing.
Good to see there’s some horse poop outside the ring at E-V. It was looking entirely too clean out there!
Nice test by Frank Osterholt! Is horse’s tail braided?
Good score, in 2nd place know. Keep an eye on this fella.
the horse had some nice changes! and i agree about the half pass comment

It’s a Candian maple leaf inside an upside-down horseshoe. Don’t have any idea - perhaps it’s the Canadian olympic team emblem? There seems to be some writing on the outline of the horseshoe but I couldn’t see it well enough.[/QUOTE]
That’s what it looked like to me. Then the German rider came in with all kinds of crazy stuff on the front of his jacket!
uhhh mine is stuck “buffering”
Can anyone tell me the breeding/bloodline on Mr. Medicott?
gina’s coming up soon!
I’m surprised the scores aren’t more dispersed. I thought there’d be a few in the 70s by now–I really thought a couple deserved 70s. Shouldn’t relaxation (or lack thereof) have more impact? IMO, the scores don’t seem to reflect that: horses with flawed movements score about the same as horses with flawed movements AND major tension (and even cessation of forward motion entirely).
ISH, by intl showjumper Cruising.
ISH’s 1 and 2, and XC yet to come.
Maybe a clean sweep this year.
