About 3/4 (it varies) of the threads on the front page will be marked as read, despite the fact that I never opened them. I’m using Windows XP and Internet Explorer. Is there something I can do to prevent this?
I think it is marked by which threads have new posts since your last visit, not whether or not they have been read. Also it follows your username – if I leave home and sign on at work, it only marks the threads that are new since when I was logged on at home.
