Three world records in a row!

As of last night my friend’s horse has now beaten or matched three world records for pacers in his last three outings.

And the season still has a long way to go!!

Always B Miki is an aged pacer (5YO) who has come back from broken bones in his hind legs that he did on two separate occasions. He has pins in both hind pasterns and has come back strong after missing most of his three and four YO seasons.

Congratulations to your friend! Well done.

I caught his win last night. Totally impressed he’s doing his best work with all those issues in his hind legs!

I always perk my ears up when I hear his name or Wiggle It Jiggle it

How on earth has he managed to break bones in his back legs??

Tell your friend congrats and whoo-hoo!!!

Very cool! I’m pretty sure I’ve watched arabian races at Delaware Park that were slower for the distance.

ETA: Just scrolling the Equibase results-

Prineville HBPA “Stakes,” @ Crooked River Roundup (that’s in Oregon, btw)

1 1/8 furlongs on the dirt for TBs 3 y/o and up

Final time: 2:05 2/5 with no run up

Now I know I’ve seen slower arabs.

Those two have been battling it out for weeks now. Congrats on the win, had no idea about the legs, really makes it more impressive.

Congrats to his connections.

I admit to knowing nothing about STBs but that sounds mighty impressive to me. Congrats!

Always B Miki

That is one awesome horse!

Regarding his broken bones:

I believe standardbreds have a greater frequency of hind end issues than tbs, due to the differences of the gaits and, therefore, weight loads of the legs during work.
