Have read The Ghost Horse - believe shortly after it came out. Joe Layden did a wonderful job. Was also lucky enough to see LBT at Saratoga, and be part of the fan-swell. You kind of thought she might be in over her head not being at her home track, and with all the commotion. The first race made believers. The 2nd, well it was Saratoga, and a different surface.
But what a great story.
