TIP Dressage Year End Awards

Hi All!

I am wondering if anyone has experience with the Thoroughbred Incentive Program’s year end awards. Specifically, if anyone might have an idea of how many points may get you in the ribbons! I have looked at the past years winners and they do not show the amount of points the horse/rider accumulated to place. This is the first year I’ve recorded my horse’s scores with TIP, and I’m super hopeful that the young rider leasing him will get something for her hard work this show season!

If this helps, she has mostly obtained points in the Dressage First Level - East Division, with one Training Level score, as well as the Junior Rider Division. I also showed the horse once this year at First Level. She has accumulated 102 points at First level, 15 points at Training Level and my ride at First Level scored 15 points. Overall, the horse has 127 points.

Thank you all in advance for any info you can provide!

It’s really hard to say-- it’s a pretty new program that has grown every year and I think this is the first year that they’ve split by region (and like you said, they don’t ever post point totals!) I would definitely send your points in but then forget about it until February.

Thank you for the response!
I will be taking your advice and am attempting to just forget the whole thing until I hear something, one way or another, this winter!

Scores are in! Now we wait…
