Tipperary Windsor in the hunter ring

I just bought a tipperary windsor wide brim to replace a trauma void EQ that never quite fit right.
Is the “black” strip (really looks more silver) along the vent edges OK for the hunter ring? Or do I have to do something like take a sharpie to it…

I have one and show in the hunter ring. Definitely acceptable.
I was reserve champion at one show this summer with a 1,2&3 under judge Randy Roy.
Was also 5th in one of Canadian Hunter Derbies with it on.

People have some pretty blingy helmets these days, custom Samshields and the like. I think the Windsor is relatively tame, a pretty helmet!
