If only that were true. 
In fact, that might save the lesson barn system. Such low-stress lessons, with the horses in full cooperation. Whatever the rider thinks, they do. No more escaping out a carelessly-open gate. Or stopping everything to dive their head down to eat grass, while a lesson rider pulls futilely on the reins.
Awesome. I want to just sit there.
