Have not purchased live stream/On Demand video yet from either provider. Tyring to decided which one. For those that have and watched the coverage so far in Eventing Dressage today and Dressage these past days, which is the better or is it a draw?
Haven’t done FEI TV before, but I have always been happy with Universal. I get it for Rolex every year and so far for the WEG, it’s been great.
Same feed for everybody.
The coverage on FEItv and Universal Sports is EXACTLY the same. The client technology(on your PC) used is slightly different with, in my opinion, Universal Sports having a slight edge with Microsoft Silverlight. FEItv uses Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player, as does USEFNetwork.
FEItv covers everything, Universal Sports only dressage, eventing and jumping. USEFNetwork covers those disciplines that Universal doesn’t.
Carr-Hughes Productions provides one video feed to all broadcast, cable and Internet outlets. What those outlets do with it is up to them. They can add their own commentary, insert local “colour” pieces or edit it to their heart’s content. Carr-Hughes Productions produces the NBC time-buy segments as well.
dont forget some live feeds for free on usefnetwork
