Another question…in a scenario where you would normally wear a shad if you had one, for those just wearing a dark coat and white shirt do people still wear stock ties with them? I haven’t seen anyone recently who has, but just wondering if that is a regional thing. I remember when I was young we always wore a stock tie in formal attire - even with a regular coat.
