Uvex has released this crash sensor for helmets. It just clips/sticks onto your helmet and it calls your emergency contact if you have a fall and don’t respond.
I already wear an apple watch which also kind of does the same thing, but the cool thing about this one is its specifically for your head.
But I can’t seem to figure out if its compatible with use in the USA. Has anyone tried it?
contact them directly, it “should” work here… the servers that are used are in Germany … it is a German product so expect the German to English manual to be one of an adventure in learning what they believe English to be
I had a client who was required to use a specific German made piece of equipment… after dealing with that it is easy to understand why they lost two world wars… the manufacturer went into great detail about some extraneous assembly process was done down to in 1/1000th … after seeing what they wanted to do, here one would just drill and inert bolt which worked as the item is still in use today after many years
