LetItBe

So sad to hear this but what a wonderful life.

Like so many of you, I was a HUGE “Fred” fan. Gail knew her stuff when she bred him and boy, oh boy was she right. What a tremendous individual; what a void he will leave in the horse world and the hearts of Gail and Garnet.

It’s never easy to let them go.

So very sorry Gail. I saw your post on fb and was heartbroken.

My heart broke when I read your post this morning. So very sorry for yours and Garnet’s loss. He was stunning horse and will be missed dearly. Massive hugs to you both.

Godspeed beautiful boy.

P.

He was a part of this place.
My sincere condolences.

I am very sad to hear this news. But so grateful that those beautifully selected bloodlines live on. Nothing can command your heart so totally as a good Thoroughbred. Thank you, Fred, for the years of enjoyment we have had learning about your beautiful boy and watching not only his accomplishments but those of his children.

What a sad day. He was such a phenomenal stallion and I have seen so many of his foals competing in eventing.

I am so sorry.

You did well by him Gail, he couldn’t have had a better person.

Hang in there, and know how many loving thoughts are with you.

Oh Gail, I’m so sorry to hear this. He was a wonderful stallion and I know you loved him so. My thoughts are with you during this sad time.

Oh, no. I am so sorry. What a legacy he left.

There is a big new presence over the Rainbow Bridge.

Godspeed Fred.

Fred will be waiting for you there, Gail…

Rest in Peace you elegant soul. Gail and Garnet, thank you for sharing such an wonderful horse. :frowning:

Threads like these are always heartbreaking to read. This one is especially sad, all of Canada has lost an incredible stallion, gifted to the horse world by such loving and caring owners. May you find some comfort in knowing how many lives he has touched and influenced with his get. He was a living legend, the equine community will forever be in your debt. Godspeed AFR, Fred you will never be forgotten. :frowning:

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for sharing him with us. I feel like I lost a friend as well. He was magnificent.

Sorry for your loss Gail. ((HUGS))
