Wow!! What a great looking puppy. I am so looking forward to following his progress to adulthood.

OP.,
you gotta learn how to post pics! Coth awaits!!

(Your pics are fine but you seem to lack confidence.)

Wow, adorably handsome!

You both hit the jackpot, he is a beautiful dog is right.

I expect if you had seen him before you posted you would not have need to start this thread.
At any age such a dog is irresistible.
Whatever fate brings you both, a serious deep breath and “this is right” comes to mind.
That breeder needs big thanks, being yours is what you both need right now.

Congratulations! :hugs:

It has been a good experience. He took to me immediately at the breeders. Sat in front of me and put his paw on my knee.

He likes to be with me. He is allowed to follow me and likes to lie beside me. He was good in his crate all night
Managed to get outside right away for pee and poo though we did have a couple of accidents in the house yesterday.

He already obeys “come, sit and no”

This as given me a purpose again and a new lease on life. Coth you are responsible for this and I thank you.

I am so glad for this morning’s report.

I love that he has some built in commands and knows them already. That will help solidify your bond, but it sounds like he is “your” dog!!

He is allowed an accident or two before he knows the routine and with all of the excitment, I am sure he did not even noticed he needed to go and you don’t know his tells.

Congratulations @Cat_Tap! I am going to live vicariously through you and Colton as I lost both my dogs last year and now is not the right time to replace them.

Enjoy Colton and please post lotsa pictures!

Same same!!
reading without your glasses on is so much fun. When I first read the name I read it as Cotton and thought how it suited him because he is so fluffy and surely feels soft like a cotton ball. lol

Many congrats, and I am a bit envious. I have long had a thing for Bouvies and seriously thought about one when looking for a dog a few years back (settled on something smaller though because we aren’t spring chickens anymore and have a lot of stairs in our house - didn’t want to get knocked or dragged down the stairs by a rambunctious dog!).

Colton looks like an adorable little fluffball and I wish you both many happy years together!

Oh but I had forgotten how challenging potty training can be especially during this dreary rainy weather. We have had some success early mornings but have had some accidents in the house. I no longer care as I will live here until I die. When I am gone they will probably bulldoze this 1850 Salt box and build a McMansion.

There is certainly no time to be bored or depressed.

Hopefully he will catch on quick - it’s exhausting at the start, for sure!!

Poop/pee surprises are not fun surprises
