Tooled leather belt

Does anyone have a cool tooled leather belt that doesn’t lean western? Bonus points if painted…

I’m having a belt made because I have a cool buckle I bought at a vintage shop. I want a belt that I would wear in a dressage clinic so cool, not too western, tooled and maybe painted…

I’m looking for ideas if anyone has a pic to share

You mean, something like this?

Etsy had many such that would fit with a dressage outfit:

yes - that’s nice! I was on etsy but the ones that came up in my search were all similarly western, this one is cool.

Only one left, here it is, kind of pricey, may be others like it around a bit cheaper:

Bluey, that is beautiful! Looking at “similar” belts there was eye-opening! I had no idea people were making such amazing belts, both painted and just tooled designs. I may have to get out my leather tools and make myself a new belt! The budget does not allow for buying from there, though the crafting and ideas looks superb. Great inspiration for me! Thanks Bluey.

Did you figure it out yet? I’ve got a custom belt maker here in Cols that does beautiful work.
Not expensive either.

He’s made three belts for us and they are all such high quality.

My last one was $90 (just the leather) and two belts made for my husband included buckles and were both so beautiful. I think they were $125 each.

thanks - I am going to use a local woman to make the belt but I’m looking for ideas before I meet with her. She won’t ever copy another worker’s designs but it will help me to focus on the feel I want so she can offer suggestions…
