Electrical problems can be a real crap shoot. Brakes are relatively easy to diagnose. When you hook to a power source and get a disconnect, short, you have to start at the back and work forward undoing a light at a time to find the culprit. For us, if it’s an hour, it’s $60. 2 hours=120 and so on. Sometimes faulty brakes are the electrical problem so we always attack the brakes first. Sometimes it’s easier to fix and axle than to find an electrical short. Not what you wanted to hear I’m sure.
