You seem to have private messaging turned off, so this will be public, but less public than on the thread.

Tawna is insane and it doesn’t surprise me she hasn’t responded.

I did however speak with a friend who is also familiar with max and his offspring and we kind of both agree that your guy really looks too nice to be a max baby, especially the length of his back. Max was half saddlebred, quite long, and tended to throw quite long backed offspring.

You could try RPSI or American warmblood to see if any maxamillion colts matching yours were presented/registered the year of his birth.

I know my guy wouldn’t be registered because the person that had him when he was born purchased his dam while she was in foal with my horse. He then sat in a field and was sold a few years later. Any way to tell for sure if Maxamillion was his sire?

I would try contacting rpsi and/or American warmblood and telling them you bought this horse and were told he was by Max, but the horse was never registered but you would like to register him or get a certificate of pedigree if possible, and ask if you can submit DNA to verify max is the sire.

(Theoretically his DNA should be on file but I don’t know for sure)

Thank you so much for your help!
