I haven’t read the whole thread but wanted to let you know that my absolute best friend from Kindergarten (career physician’s assistant, tri-athlete, took our first riding lesson together 40 years ago) had a complete turn around of her Thymic cancer after being on Keytruda! It’s definitely her miracle drug, she was stage 4 Thymic carcinoma, other drugs weren’t working, she’d had to stop working and had to stop doing so many things that gave her joy. In other words, her prognosis was concerning on many levels. More than a year ago after getting her scans done, she was told “no detectable signs of disease”, repeat scans 6 months later had the same great news. I’m sharing this to offer hope! She’s back to work part-time, biking again, looks and feels wonderful. Good luck to you and your husband!
OMG thank you so much for this!! That’s terrific news!! Yes, we are hoping for the best and I am certainly not mentioning my neighbor’s experience. I think Keytruda is the Jimmy Carter drug too! So, thanks for the success story—YAY! Hope it applies to DH if he goes ahead with it. Right now, 5/27 women in a breast cancer/keytruda study responded. Not great but jnot nothing either!
