Thank you so much! It is so hard to move to a new area, especially when the care of horses is so different due to the heat and climate. Two of the houses we are looking at are in Lakewood Ranch and one just outside. We hope to be in the area June/July time frame so my children can have time to get use to the heat a bit and settle in before school starts. I really miss teaching riding in the states, it is such a different scene in the UK. I owned and trained at Royal Oak Stables in Del Mar, Ca, but sold the business to my assistant when we moved. Hoping to find someone looking for lesson coverage, barn management or just a ‘apprentice’ so I can learn about the area and ins and outs of caring for horses in Florida… Thanks again for reaching out, it helps chatting with people before the move!
