I am very interested in your Hanoverian gelding for lease. We are located in Lancaster county PA. He would be ridden by an advanced rider. Her current horse, a 17.3 mare, tore her oblique tendon when she twisted her ankle after a jump and did not come back sound. We bred her but it will be about 4 years until the baby can do anything so long term lease sounds lovely! We keep our horses at a private farm. Big fields with run in sheds and more grass than we know what to do with. Cute barn with dutch doors and open on the aisle side. Small indoor and nice outdoor on the property as well. We turnout during the day right now and will switch to night turnout and in during the day if winter ever decides it is done. ( here’s hoping!) We turnout as much as possible and will use the indoor to get them out when the weather is miserable. My daughter rides with Kevin McQueen ( Mill Stone Farm, Asbury NJ). She is 25 and 5’8" so not a kid and tall enough to be able to work with your big horse. She competes on the A show circuit mostly. She rides about 5 times a week and lessons each week. We probably compete once or twice a month and tend to ship in to show as I think the horses like to come home. She did go to Gulfport this year as she had the opportunity to work as a show groom for Kevin. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see what "going South " is like. Anyway, I would love to see videos of your horse if possible and to find out the lease requirements. We are willing to provide references and pictures of the farm for you.
I hope to hear from you soon!
