Need advice on teaching a horse to stand still. I got my QH gelding almost two years ago as a green ten year old. He has a very hard time standing tied or still in general. He is antsy and paws in the trailer, grooming area, or patience pole. The longer I leave him the worse he gets. He works himself into a full sweat, chips up his hooves, and digs a huge trench in the ground. Any advice??? Do I just leave him? It just seems the longer he is tied the worse it gets. Not sure what to do anymore…
