Thanks, Scribbler. You are very right. I absolutely would not be questioning what is going on if their message to me hadn’t changed from, “We want her to be rehomed as soon as possible, as I have sold my other horse and this horse will be alone on the farm,” to “I don’t have time to do anything with the horse this week; sorry.” And if my truck had broken down, but I really wanted to make things happen, I would offer more information on when I expected to be able to reschedule. 
But, it’s not my job to question them, other than how it affects me, and I can certainly deal with waiting a few more days. We’ll see what happens!
