Hi! Thank you so much for replying! The facilities absolutely look top notch. I have not yet had the opportunity to meet John. Would you say his teaching style is George Morris-stern, kind and encouraging, or something in the middle? Also, have you seen him ride a decent amount? I’d like to know if his riding style is more patient and quiet or if he uses more negative reinforcement.
Thanks again! I really appreciate it.

Hi! No worries - we love Legacy so I’m happy to talk about them. John is very relaxed. He likes to challenge his riders, but in a teachable way. Not like George at all. I have seen him ride a few times, he is back in the ring after a hiatus of 6 years. He has a young jumper and is bringing him up. He did the .60 and .90 at our zone finals and took 8th twice and first. he hacks the horses at the barn. He absolutely doesn’t use negative reinforcement at all. He is patient with our horse, and getting to the bottom of him if need be. He gives my daughter opportunities to ride other horses all the time, and will be stern if she doesn’t listen - he just gets louder and more curt - only because he is tired of repeating himself! LOL.

where do you currently ride? We have a small show team, and it’s so relaxed.
