I broke my pelvis - Superior and inferior ramus it as well as a staircase fracture of the iliac in 2004, I did not try to ride again until three late years later because my husband was so worried. My fractures were non-displaced and therefore I did not have surgery I was confined to bed rest for 12 weeks and healed Beautifully. When I did start riding again I was fine and have competed in Hunter classes and one a lot of championships. So hang in there you will be fine to ride again but listen to your doctor
