Hi Archie- this is in response to your question about When Breath Becomes Air.
I know nothing about the book, emontionsl health or the grieving process, other than what I’ve experienced. Reading your post though, left me thinking that - perhaps - reading the book and stirring up the emotions might be good for you. It might give you an outlet for your grief. You said that type of thing is out of your comfort zone, but maybe this is a good time to step out of the box for a short time. Grief isn’t in my comfort zone, but if there was a way to help work through it, I’d probably give it a try.
if you do decide to read it, it might help to keep in mind that you can stop at anytime. Don’t force yourself to finish if you don’t want to.
I’m sorry to read about your sister. Be kind to yourself as you grieve her.
