Once again I agree with you --I was too lazy to scroll through and read the helmet-no helmet thread --glad you are in the helmet wearing group. Anyway, I look for and enjoy your comments on COTH!
Honestly I usually don’t wear a helmet. I’m confident that my horse is good to go before I get on. If I have doubts about the horse, we work it out on the ground. I’m concerned about all my body, not just my head.
If I am at a facility or event that requires a helmet (lessons, clinics, etc) I will put one on. And I wore one to a large group trail ride earlier this year. So I pick and choose.
