I have a senior horse, she is 23 yrs old and as I moved her to a farm for a few months until I move there she lost weight, her top line is pretty bad, she is clipping hooves bad and just doesn’t seem herself. I started feeding her three times a day, with soaked beep pull and Omega fatty 3 oil, alfalfa pellets. She has a 2 acre pasture with roll of hay as well. I saw an improvement and thought I might be able to solve the weight issue, however my daughter gets a magazine in the mail I pick it up and read issues with senior horses and almost cried, all symptoms of Cushing’s diase. I have never had any contact with horses with Cushing diswase so it’s all new to me. She got her hooves trimmed today and signs of blood in her hooves as if was a bruise but it was at the toe and that is a sure sign. Can anyone help with info
