I’m shocked by the number of responses that suggest paying her in full. Ah…no. You agreed to pay for a certain level of care. Your animals didn’t get that care. And she lied by suggesting that she stayed there when she didn’t. And your dogs were dehydrated. I’d be very upfront about my opinions on the care they received and pay her accordingly.
Thanks. I think it might just be that we horse people are a bit used to having to pay in full for sketchy service/ etc. At least that’s what I’m thinking. I don’t want to pay full price but it deserves a calm discussion of the facts. Which is where I’m headed.
