On farriers – the guy I’m using right now is an apprentice named JP Quagliotti, who is very conscientious, slow, and extremely conservative in the amount he will trim. He doesn’t speak English perfectly (despite his Italian name he is from South America). Although I really criticize him, I just don’t think he is being aggressive enough with my pony’s feet (she is coming off years of neglect, is still in remedial trim mode).
