Hi there,

I am building a barn and noticed in some prior posts you mentioned you have concrete stall floors with EVA mats. I am leaning strongly towards a concrete base as well, and am trying to decide on matting. I looked at stall mattresses but am not sure we will be able to recess the stalls the recommended 4+ inches, and I am very interested in possibly using the EVA. Have you had any issues with horses pulling them up or curling? I ask because we had tried a type of mat (Frelonic and “Mighty Lite” mats, which I “think” are EVA, but am not sure) and had some issues with them. I’d love to find an option that works (cushy and light would be great!).

Best,
