The Amish barns are more expensive than stick built. Plus they are only 8’ tall at the wall height. You need at least 10’ because some stupid TB will mess with the other and stand up and hit it’s head. Lee llewellyn built mine for me. It was stick built, but MUCH cheaper than a portable. I had a 4 foot over hang, which was not enough when it was pouring, but doable. A 6’ might work better. Lee is with Old Time builders in Powhatan. I don’t know how busy he is and if he still does barns, but when we did mine, we did it in three phases as I had money.
