I would ABSOLUTELY post something on a FB group for your daughter and not give up on the Eq completely.

For example, I have a horse I imported to do the hunters. He ended up afraid of flowers, so we’re doing the jumpers and getting back to the 1.20s since I recently had a baby.

But this week I did a Karen Healey clinic and she absolutely adored him and thinks he should do the eq. He is a handsome big horse but incredibly adjustable and broke on the flat. And over time, he’s gotten braver. He actually jumped all the flower jumps and roll tops in a ring he doesn’t know well in the clinic. I don’t think he’d be the perfect straight equitation horse, but for all the jumper medals, he would be amazing. He actually loves liverpools, go figure!

The horse is super sensitive so I wouldn’t feel comfortable selling him, but I would love to find a lease situation like your daughter for a couple years. The less expensive ones don’t all have giant holes, some of them are special situations. So I definitely think its worth looking around at what’s out there.
