Hi! I was reading the thread about the NQR TB mare and your farrier sounds wonderful. Any chance you are in Northern VA and/or he travels to Maryland? I’m just across the river from Leesburg. I also have a TB with long toes and I don’t think my farrier sees the problem with them, which is frustrating. Thanks!!
I’m in Powhatan, so central Va. you are in the heart of hunt country. Do you have any contacts with anybody who hunts? If so, id see who the hunt clubs use for staff horses. These are horses that work 1-2 times a week and cover MILES of varying terrain at varying speeds. They need their horses to be sound.
