I’m not sure how to use this but I have a question and mares and twins… the nearest vet is over an hour away so I never had her checked she had two foals before and they both where fine and only the one but that was 12 years ago she is now 18 and I bread her and she had twins both lived but must have had a hard birth as they had breathing grub led and one died two days later and one died almost a month old, he was fine the first week and a half and then he got big fast and had a hard time walking so he only got up to drink and I think he got colic or it was hard for him to poop and move proper and I though he would be okay as he seemed alert and okay but he passed away over night not sure why but I was wondering if it’s safe to re bread the mare to the same stallion or a different one even … will she have twins again or was it random she had twins this time as he last foal was not a twin? If it is unsafe I do not want to bred her again thank you
