Hi I was lurking on a old thread about ulcers about a pony Daisy I believe you had gotten a few years back that was anemic due to ulcers and you did the abler pop rocks treatments I am and have been dealing with my horse who i lightly show and trail ride and he came out of winter a bit gaunt and hes my super easy keeper so we blood tested him and he was bad anemic well we did some red cell and what not along with so,e shots my vet gave him blood boosters ect. After I did some research i’m certain it’s ulcers old fashion vet has not tested for ulcers I have literally after reading your thread placed a call to him about it and waitting for call back. Any way how did the Ablers work out for your pony? What do you feed long term now ? Any help or insight appreciated on your experience thanks so much (edited to add hes currently being a picky thing about any feed at all and eating his grain and hay it fits and spurts like a typical ulcers horse, hes on turn out for 13 hours a day on grass. has access to alfalfa as well.
