I’ve been giving our 140# Boerboel/Rhodesian Ridgeback “Serenity” CBD oil since Nov. 2018. Her seizures slowly diminished in occurrence and severity. Early on…she had a cluster of seizures every 4-5 weeks…at times she would have a “cluster” of them 8-10 over 2-3 days and they were VERY severe …our dog is very large and we had to steady her so she didn’t get into dangerous places or hurt herself. First CBD oil was 350 mg (an odd dosage, but what we could get from out of state) after one 30cc bottle of that I went to 500 mg off Amazon and started with .75 cc. twice daily. Her seizures started coming farther apart…now I give her .625 cc of 500 mg. twice a day and am "sneaking down toward .5 cc/twice a day. Right now we are at 4.5 months seizure free!!! I do not use the dog preparations…much more expensive for a “chewy” when I can get a better price on “human” oil and put it in her feed twice a day…it don’t taste badly. There is no “right dosage” IMO…you just have to experiment…too much isn’t going to hurt anything. I keep very accurate records due to being in the horse business…but do make yourself a diary so you know what is happening at what dosage. Good luck.
