Hi everyone! I’m new to the forum but had a training question if someone would be so kind to answer for me. I am following Clinton Anderson’s lunging for respect stage 1 exercise. My horse responds very well initially to my pointing in the direction I want her to go, but when i yield her hindquarters and bring her in for a rub, she anticipates my cue to move out again before I have had a chance to point and request it. How would you handle this? I have the book and cant find this trouble shooting advice in it, and have also looked online with no success.
